Temporary Constructions, a workshop held at South Kiosk Gallery in London, led by Franek Wardynski, Konstantinos Trichas, and Mariana Sameiro. By transporting values from architecture into the arts, the trio designed an exercise that brought material accumulation, experimentation, and ‘non-spaces’ to life.

Using the anti-architectural group, Anarchitecture, as a starting point, the participants were asked to explore the idea of architecture as an art practice, reinventing the use of materials. The workshop was aimed at the reconfiguration of the role of architecture, as suggested by Anarchitecture.

The participants were invited to create fragments, bricks, and building structures, using unconventional materials, then configuring them collaboratively in a temporary monument, as well as designing an area that retained a sculptural value, reinforcing architecture as a form of art.
